All of our physiotherapists are registered with HCPC.

Physiotherapy is the process of restoring and maintaining movement, function, and overall well-being. Through detailed assessment and evidence-based treatments such as manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and education, we help patients recover from injury, manage chronic conditions, and prevent future physical issues. Whether you’re dealing with pain, recovering from surgery, or looking to improve mobility and strength, physiotherapy offers a personalised, holistic approach to support your health goals.

An initial assessment involves listening to the history of your injury and how this currently impacts activities of daily living and quality of life. Using this information we target a clinical examination of your injury and provide an accurate diagnosis as a result. Our job is to reassure you of a plan of treatment and rehabilitation or a referral to one of our specialists in our comprehensive network.

Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses high-energy sound waves to stimulate healing in injured or painful tissues. Commonly used for conditions such as tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, calcific shoulder pain, and other chronic musculoskeletal issues, shockwave therapy promotes increased blood flow, breaks down scar tissue, and accelerates tissue repair. It is especially effective when traditional physiotherapy approaches have not provided full relief. Safe, quick, and requiring no downtime, shockwave therapy can be a powerful tool in helping patients return to pain-free movement.

Acupuncture is a safe and effective treatment used within physiotherapy to help relieve pain, reduce muscle tension, and promote natural healing. Involving the insertion of very fine, sterile needles into specific points on the body, acupuncture can help regulate the nervous system, improve circulation, and support the body’s own repair processes.
